Spring has been a busy season for Swallow Publishing, bringing two writers’ books to press: Fabiyas MV in March, and Steve Sibra in April.
The books are Being Human, a collection of short stories and THIS MONTH’S NEW RELEASE, Shoes for Baby: Some Poems, available for pre-order through May 26.
Both authors are busy promoting their works, both online and in person.
Fabiyas MV lives in India. Primarily a poet, his short story collection is a slender volume, thick with observations about the human condition.
Says one Being Human reviewer:
Traditional Indian culture butts against modern technology, poverty meets tragedy and generosity, and the fantastic meets scientific explanation. At the core of it all is human relationship.
Lovers of humanistic literature will find Fabiyas MV sharing his best pieces on his Facebook page.
Steve Sibra is Swallow Books’ featured author this May, with the publication of SHOES for BABY
STEVE makes his first public reading appearance in over two years, and is happy for the opportunity to read among old friends at Everett Poetry Night.
Come hear a plethora of new material, to be read in public for the first time at The Sister’s Restaurant, located in the Everett Public Market, 2804 Grand Ave. on Thursday, May 26 at 7:15 p.m.
